Sportsbook Rules
Scope and applicability
These Sportsbook Rules govern all bets placed on Gamegram and supersede any informal assurances. By placing a bet, you acknowledge and accept these Rules in full. All settlements are final unless a formal correction is issued in writing by Gamegram in accordance with these Rules.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction) and legally permitted to wager online in your place of residence. You may not place bets from jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited. Gamegram reserves the right to verify identity, location, and eligibility before accepting bets and at any time thereafter.
Key definitions
- Market: a specific betting product offered on an event or outcome (e.g., match winner, score total).
- Event: a sporting contest or occurrence on which bets can be placed.
- Official Source: the governing body, competition organizer, or other entity whose results determine the outcome for settlement.
- Regular Time: the standard period of play as defined by the event (e.g., 90 minutes for football, court time for tennis).
- Outright: a market determined by a participant’s ultimate placement across a tournament or season.
General settlement framework
Settlements are based on the official result published by the relevant authorities. If an official result is published after the event has ended, settlement will reflect the official outcome. If multiple official announcements exist, Gamegram will apply the most authoritative final result available at settlement time.
- If a market cannot be determined due to a lack of available information, it may be settled as void or refunded in accordance with these Rules.
- Player specials and bets expressly excluding overtime, extra time, or shootouts will be settled as described in the market description unless the governing rules state otherwise.
Event disruptions, postponements, and cancellations
Event changes are governed as follows unless a market description states otherwise:
- If a match is postponed or suspended and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, bets may be voided unless otherwise stated in the market description.
- If a match is resumed within 48 hours with no change to the competition’s format, bets remain valid and will be settled on the final official result.
- If a match is abandoned and not resumed within 48 hours, settled markets reflect the result of the portion of play that occurred; undecided bets are void unless the event is completed later and the market description provides otherwise.
- Where a venue change, drastic modification to match length, or other radical changes occur, Gamegram may cancel all bets and refund stakes.
Mistakes, palpably incorrect odds, and refunds
Gamegram may void or cancel bets if there is a palpable error in the event logic, odds, or starting times, or if a customer attempts to exploit a system or place multiple identical bets or open multiple accounts to gain an advantage. Any decision to cancel or void will be communicated with the customer and will be final unless reversed by a formal process.
Integrity and fraud
If Gamegram suspects fraud or manipulation of a sporting event, we may:
- pause settlement on affected bets,
- withhold payouts,
- inform the relevant regulatory bodies, and
- settle or void bets in accordance with the authorities’ final determinations.
Arbitration of disputes and corrections
In the event of a dispute, customers may submit a claim to Gamegram. If a settlement error is identified, Gamegram reserves the right to reverse settled bets prior to the conclusion of the event or within 30 days of settlement, whichever occurs first, provided the final decision from the relevant authority confirms the error.
Live betting and in-play rules
In-play bets are settled on the official results at the time of completion of play. If a decision in-play contradicts the on-field outcome due to review (e.g., video review), bets affected by the time of the incident and the subsequent decision may be voided if the odds offered were materially impacted or if the review alters the fundamental state of the event at the time of bet placement. Bets not influenced by the review will stand.
Odds display and payout calculations
Gamegram displays odds with two decimal digits for user interface purposes. Total payouts are calculated using the third decimal place and are rounded to two decimals. Any discrepancy between displayed odds and settled results will be resolved in accordance with these rounding rules; the settled result is authoritative.
Settlement timing and re-settlement
The maximum period between the initial settlement of a betslip and any re-settlement or correction is 30 days. After settlement, corrections may be made only to reflect an official decision reached within that period.
Outrights and the Play-or-Pay rule
Outright markets (short-term or long-term) are subject to the Play-or-Pay rule. Bets on participants will stand and be settled normally even if the listed participant is unable to participate, unless the rule states otherwise. This rule applies to all outright markets such as Winner, Top 3, or Top 5. Head-to-head (H2H) markets are excluded from this rule; if a listed participant does not take part, H2H markets involving that participant are void. If a participant is replaced by another participant from the same team, team-based markets remain valid; individual performance markets for the participant may be void.
Scorers and market definitions
Bets on Scorers apply to regular time unless market rules specify otherwise. Own goals are treated as non-scorers for scorer markets unless the governing competition declares an own goal as valid. First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, and Anytime Goalscorer are settled according to playing time and participation rules described in the market description. If a match is abandoned after a scorer has been recorded, bets on the first goalscorer may remain valid while last goalscorer bets may be void depending on the final on-field scorer record.
Sport-specific settlement principles
Gamegram provides separate, sport-specific guidelines within each sport category. The following brief summaries apply unless the market description provides a different rule:
- Football (Soccer): Final result is determined by 90 minutes of play plus injury time; extra time and penalties are not considered unless specified by the market. If a match is interrupted, bets may be voided or settled based on the official final result and the description of the market.
- Tennis: Bets settle on official match winner; retirements, walkovers, or replacements are treated per market rules; if a match is shortened, markets may be void unless otherwise stated.
- Basketball: Final result includes any overtime for standard markets; some markets may exclude overtime as described in the market terms.
- Baseball: Moneyline and related markets may be settled by the official score, with innings and pitchers governed by special rules described in the market terms; ties and rain delay considerations are treated per sport regulations.
- American Football: Overtime may be included in some markets only if stated; otherwise, final regulation result governs.
- Ice Hockey and Rugby: Final results exclude overtime unless the market specifies inclusion; bets on injured or retired players are subject to market terms.
Automation, limits, and risk controls
Gamegram may set or adjust wagering limits, eligibility thresholds, and risk controls at its sole discretion and may refuse bets in whole or in part without providing a reason. Any such decision is final and binding.
Operational interruptions
If the betting platform experiences a technical interruption, bets may be accepted or rejected based on the availability of funds, price correctness, and system status at the time of reentry. Customers should verify bet acceptance in their betting history after system restoration.
Disclosures and dispute-rights
Gamegram will provide a clear and timely account of bet settlements. In the event of a dispute, customers may request a review; decisions on review are final. For regulatory inquiries, Gamegram cooperates with the applicable authorities and adheres to their determinations.
